The present petition has been filed for directions to the respondents No.1 to 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner from the hands of respondents No.4 and 5.

Notice of motion to the respondents No.1 to 3 only. 3.

Since advance notice has already been served upon the State, Mr. Parveen Kumar Aggarwal, Additional Advocate General, Haryana, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents No.1 to 3 and waives service. 4.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is a senior citizen and is residing with his mentally unsound wife. The son and daughter-in-law of the petitioner are disrespectful to the petitioner and his wife, which causes mental agony and humiliation to him. Due to their misconduct, the petitioner has formally disowned them from all his movable and immovable properties. Criminal Writ Petition No. 9244 of 2025 entered the premises of the petitioner and damaged the household articles and threatened to kill him. The petitioner has filed representation dated 18.08.2025 (Annexure P2), before the respondent No.3-Station House Officer, Police Station Bawani Khera, District Bhiwani. According to petitioner, no action has been taken as yet. The learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that a direction for disposing of the representation (Annexure P2) be given to the concerned authorities and the instant writ petition be disposed of.

Keeping in view the aforesaid facts, the present writ petition is hereby disposed of with a direction to the respondent No.3 to pass a speaking order and decide the representations of the representation (Annexure P2), as per law, within a period of 15 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

It is, however, made clear that no finding with regard to merits of the allegations is being recorded vide instant order, and the police authorities shall be at liberty to take an independent decision with regard to contents of the representation.
