The present petition is pending since 2019.

Today, learned State counsel, on receipt of instructions from ASI Harpal Singh, has informed this Court that in fact the FIR in question, has been registered against the present petitioner, and after completion of the investigation, final report has also been submitted before the Court of Law. 5.

In view of the above statement, as submitted by the learned State Counsel, no further action is required in the present petition. 6.

Accordingly, the instant petition is dismissed as having been rendered infructuous.
