NAMIT KUMAR, J. (ORAL) This petition has been filed by the petitioner under Section 482 Cr.P.C. read with Section 439 Cr.P.C. seeking interim bail for one month in case FIR No.113 dated 19.06.2020 under Section 21 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 registered at Police Station Sadar Ferozepur, District Ferozepur, to enable him to attend the Bhog Ceremony of his father, who expired on 26.11.2022, which is scheduled for 04.12.2022.

On the strength of advance copy, learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Kulwant Singh, submits that Bhog Ceremony of father of the petitioner is scheduled for 04.12.2022. In light of the submissions of the both the sides and on perusal of the records, this Court deems it expedient to allow interim bail to the petitioner. Therefore, petitioner is directed to be released on interim bail for 10 days w.e.f. 02.12.2022 subject to his furnishing of heavy bail bonds in RAVINDER SINGH 2022.12.01 19:01 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment

-2CRM-M-55437 of 2022 the sum of Rs.1 lac with two local sureties in the like amount each to the satisfaction of the concerned CJM/Duty Magistrate.
