Learned counsel for the parties are ad idem that the matter since stands settled between the parties and as per the settlement, respondent No.2 has agreed to pay an amount of ₹2,10,000 over and above the amount already awarded by the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Panipat (hereinafter referred to as 'the Tribunal') to the appellant as full and final settlement of all the claims.

Learned counsel for respondent No.2 states that respondent No.2 has agreed to pay an amount of ₹2,10,000 over and above the amount of ₹1,28,447 already awarded by the Tribunal. Learned counsel further states that the aforesaid amount would be paid as full and final settlement of all the claims and that a cheque in the name of the appellant would be handed over to the appellant/counsel for the appellant within a period of six weeks from today.

Learned counsel for the appellant states that he has no objection. 4.

In view of the above, the present appeal is disposed off in terms of the settlement and with a direction to respondent No.2 to hand over a cheque in the name of the appellant for an amount of ₹2,10,000 over and above the amount already awarded by the Tribunal, to the appellant/counsel for the appellant, within a period of six weeks from today.
