(ORAL) The present petition has been filed for quashing of FIR No.201, dated 17.09.2022, registered at Police Station Ajnala, District Amritsar Rural, under Sections 452, 323, 324, 326, 148 & 149 IPC (Annexure P-1) on the basis of compromise (Annexure P-2).

Pursuant to order dated 05.12.2022, report dated 21.01.2023 has been received from Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Ajnala, according to which, the statements of the parties have been recorded and the compromise is genuine and has been arrived at between them with their free will, without any pressure or coercion.

In view of the above, the petition is allowed and FIR No.201, dated 17.09.2022, registered at Police Station Ajnala, District Amritsar Rural, under Sections 452, 323, 324, 326, 148 & 149 IPC (Annexure P-1) along with all consequential proceedings having arisen therefrom, is quashed qua the petitioners.
