Prayer is for grant of anticipatory bail in case FIR No.108 dated 02.08.2023, under Sections 406 and 420 of Indian Penal Code, 1860, registered at Police Station Division No. 4 (Lahori Gate), Patiala (Annexure P-1).

Vide order dated 19.10.2023, this Court while granting the concession of interim anticipatory bail directed the petitioner to join investigation.

Learned State counsel submits that although the reply is not ready but on instructions from ASI Satbir Singh states that the petitioner has joined the investigation and his custodial interrogation is no longer required.

In light of the above, the present petition is allowed. The order dated 19.10.2023 granting interim anticipatory bail to the petitioner, is made absolute. However, the petitioner shall join the investigation as and when called upon to do so by the Investigating Agency and shall abide by the conditions of Section 438 (2) Cr.P.C.
