(ORAL) Prayer in the instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been made for quashing FIR No.76 dated 26.12.2017, registered under Section 66-D of Information Technology Act, 2000 and under Section 506 IPC (added later on), Police Station Purana Shalla, District Gurdaspur (P-1) and all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, on the basis of compromise dated 15.11.2018 (P-3).
Pursuant to order dated 18.12.2018, of this Court, parties appeared before the trial Court on 17.01.2019 for recording their statements. Learned Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Gurdaspur, has submitted her report vide letter bearing No.22 dated 23.01.2019 duly forwarded by learned District and Sessions Judge, Gurdaspur, vide Endst. No.1669/RKT/orge dated 29.01.2019.

CRM-M-56051 of 2018 --2-- Gurdaspur, is satisfied that the parties have entered into compromise without any pressure, coercion, undue influence and same has done with the free consent of the parties.
In compliance of order dated 20.02.2019, receipts regarding deposit of costs of `15,000/- have also been produced in Court today. The same are taken on record. Be tagged at appropriate place. Considering the report of ld. Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Gurdaspur, dated 23.01.2019 and the fact that the compromise will bring peace and harmony in relations between the parties, aforesaid FIR No.76 dated 26.12.2017 along with all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, is quashed qua the petitioner only.
Disposed of accordingly.
