Mr. Ankur Sheoran, Advocate for Mr. Neeraj Sheoran, Advocate for respondent No.2. **** HARNARESH SINGH GILL, J.(Oral) Through this petition, the petitioner seeks quashing of FIR No.315 dated 30.07.2018, registered under Sections 380 and 411 IPC, at Police Station Sector-31, Chandigarh, along with all the subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, on the basis of compromise dated 26.09.2018 (Annexure P-2).

Vide order dated 02.09.2022 passed by this Court, the trial Court/Illaqa Magistrate had been directed to record the statements of the parties with regard to the genuineness and authenticity of the compromise.

In compliance thereof, the learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Chandigarh, has submitted a report, vide letter dated 08.12.2022, which indicates that the parties have not come present for recording their statements.
