This is a petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.85 dated 30.08.2022, under Sections 420, 406, 468, 471 IPC, registered at Police Station Ghanie Ke Bangar, District Batala.

Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner was not paid anything. He came into the picture only when a dispute arose between the complainant and co-accused of the petitioner. Vide order dated 14.12.2022 passed by this Court, while granting interim bail, the petitioner was directed to join investigation. Learned State counsel, on instructions, has apprised this Court that the petitioner has joined the investigation is no longer required for further interrogation.
