Ltd. **** CM-989-CII-2026 The instant application has been filed under Order 22 Rule 3 CPC read with Section 151 CPC for impleadment legal representatives of appellant-Late Smt. Rekha Ahuja and also exempt to file the original/certified copy of the death certificate Annexure A-4. For the reasons mentioned in the application duly supported with an application, the same is allowed and legal representatives of appellant-Late Smt. Rekha Ahuja, mentioned in para No.2 of application is ordered to be impleaded as the legal representatives of Late Smt. Rekha Ahuja.

Main case As agreed, as per statement of learned counsel for the appellant (separately recorded) and learned counsel for the Insurance Company (separately recorded), a sum of Rs.50,000/- (Rupees Fifty Thousand Only) over and above the amount awarded by the Tribunal is allowed to the appellant in full and final settlement of the claim in this appeal. As per the statement of learned counsel for the appellants, the enhanced amount is to be paid to LRs of appellant.

Accordingly, we dispose of the present appeal with a direction to the Insurance Company to deposit a crossed-cheque for an amount of Rs.50,000/- (Rupees Fifty Thousand Only), in the name of LRs of appellant with the office of the Lok Adalat of the High Court within a period of 08 weeks from today, in compliance of this order, failing which, interest @ 9% POONAM 2026.03.19 14:58 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

per annum shall follow on the above-said amount till payment from the date of this order. The concerned Officer of the Lok Adalat Branch/Office shall issue proper receipt, after receiving the cheque(s), to learned counsel/representative of the respondent-Insurance Company. The appellant(s)' counsel/appellant(s) may collect the cheques(s) from the office of the Lok Adalat.

Copy of the order be supplied/sent to the counsel/parties and file be returned to the Hon'ble High Court.

All pending miscellaneous application, if any, stands disposed of.
