Through the instant petition under Section 438 of Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, the appellant seeks anticipatory bail in case FIR No.84 dated 19.09.2023, registered under Sections 406, 498-A of IPC at Police Station Women Cell, District Patiala.

Vide order dated 14.11.2023 passed by this Court, the appellant was released on interim bail and was directed to join investigation. 3.

Learned State counsel on instructions from ASI Balkar Singh, states that the appellant has joined the investigation and he is not required for custodial interrogation.

In view of the said facts, without commenting on the merits of the case, the present petition is allowed and the order dated 14.11.2023 granting interim bail to the appellant is made absolute, subject to the conditions laid down in Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
