The petitioner has filed the instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, seeking issuance of a writ of certiorari for quashing the enquiry report dated 28.06.2023 (Annexure P-8), order dated 16.09.2023 (Annexure P-10) and order dated 29.09.2023 (Annexure P-11), passed by respondent No.2, whereby, punishment of 5% cut in pension has been imposed upon the petitioner and for quashing the letter dated 25.09.2023 (Annexure P-12), which has been sent by respondent No.4 to Branch Manager, State Bank of India, Mukerian Branch, for effecting recovery from the petitioner. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has produced copy of the order dated 08.04.2025 passed in COCP No.2505 of 2023 titled as 'Varinder Kumar Patwari (Retd.) Vs. Smt. Komal Mittal, (IAS), Deputy Commissioner, Hoshiarpur and another' and submits that in view of the said order, the petitioner does not want to pursue the present petition. Copy of order dated 08.04.2025 is taken on record. 3.
