Prayer in this writ petition filed by the petitioners under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, is for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus, directing the respondents to cover the petitioners under the Old Pension Scheme and convert their accounts from NPS to GPF. Further prayer has been made to direct the respondents to consider and decide the claim made in the legal notice dated 20.06.2023 (Annexure P-12) submitted by the petitioners. 2.
Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that for claiming the aforesaid relief, the petitioners have submitted legal notice dated 20.06.2023 (Annexure P-12) and at this stage, petitioners would be satisfied, if the said legal notice is decided by passing a speaking order within a time bound frame.

Without going into the merits of the case at this stage, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.1 to decide legal notice dated 20.06.2023 (Annexure P-12), submitted by the petitioners expeditiously, by passing a speaking order, preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
