Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that in the FIR No. 95 dated 1.8.2019 registered for offence punishable under Sections 323/341 read with Section 34 of IPC, the complainant Akhwinder Kaur had named her father in law Atma Singh, mediator Harnek Singh (father of petitioner) along with petitioner and two un-known persons. The police after completion of investigation presented challan in the court on 20.9.2019 wherein it was specifically mentioned that petitioner was found innocent, thereafter the court had not passed any order to summon him as co-accused either under Section 193 or 319 of Cr.P.C. ASI Gurmail Singh and Jasbir Singh are still conducting raid at the house of petitioner in order to arrest him.

Without expressing any opinion on merits, this petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to move representation before the Commissioner of Police, Jalandhar regarding his grievances which on filing will be looked into and the action as required under the law shall be taken. However, it is made clear that the above order will not be interpreted as providing protection to petitioner from any action taken in any civil, criminal or any other proceedings initiated/pending against him in accordance with law.
