This petition is directed against the order dated 16.11.2018 passed by the District Judge, Jind (for short - the Trial Court), through which the petitioner has been directed to pay to the respondent-wife a sum of Rs.5,000/- per month as maintenance pendente lite during the pendency of the petition filed by the petitioner under Section 11 of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955 (for short - the Act) along with one time litigation expenses@ Rs.5,500/-.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has been heard. It is the admitted position that the petitioner is able bodied and a Diploma holder. That being so, no interference is warranted in the order passed by the trial court directing the petitioner to pay his wife Rs.5,000/- per month as interim maintenance during the pendency of the petition filed MONIKA 2019.02.01 13:24 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

C. R. No. 9237 of 2018 by him under Section 11 of the Act. One time litigation expenses @ Rs.5,500/-, granted to the respondent-wife are also not found to be on the higher side.
