1 2 $ In the present petition, the petitioners are praying for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to revive the provisional pension of the petitioner which was stopped during the pendency of the criminal appeal.

An affidavit dated 28.10.2025 was filed on behalf of respondents No.1 and 2, wherein it has been mentioned that provisional pension of the petitioner has been released vide order dated 25.10.2024 (Annexure R-1) passed by respondent No.2 and the petitioner is now receiving the provisional pension on monthly basis. 3.

In light of the stand taken by respondents No.1 and 2 in the abovesaid affidavit, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that he does not want to press the present writ petition.
