Prayer in the present petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 is for modification and clarification of the order dated 31.07.2014 passed in CRM-M-3875-2014 (Annexure P-2) with respect to the adjustment of sum of Rs.1,00,000/- paid to respondent No.2 by way of demand draft in the Court which is subject matter of FIR No.109 dated 24.12.2013 under Sections 406, 498-A of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 at Women Police Station Ludhiana.

Learned counsel for the State has pointed out that the present petition has since been rendered infructuous as the petitioner in the abovesaid FIR stands acquitted by the Trial Court concerned. 3.

In view of the above, the present petition is dismissed as having been rendered infructuous with liberty to revive in case anything survives. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed off.
