Present writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, inter alia, for issuing directions to respondents to regularize the services of petitioner as Staff Nurse in view of the Policy Instructions dated 18.03.2011 (P-5) with effect from the date when she completed three years of service on contract basis.

At the outset, learned counsel on instructions from petitioner submits that instead of pressing the present petition on merits, his client would be satisfied in case the representation dated 23.10.2019 (P-8) is decided expeditiously.

Notice of motion to the aforesaid limited extent. On asking of the Court, Mr. D.K. Singal, Additional Advocate General, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of the respondent(s)-State and raises no objection against the innocuous prayer of the petitioner.
