***** DEEPAK GUPTA , J.(ORAL) Having married against the wishes of their family members, petitioners, who claimed to be major, are facing threat to their life and liberty from private respondent Nos.4 to 10 and so by way of this petition, they seek direction to respondent Nos.2 to 3 to protect their life.
Petition is accompanied by Aadhar Cards (Anenxures P-1 and P-2 respectively) of both the petitioners, besides copy of marriage photographs (Annexure P-4) and copy of marriage certificate (Annexure P-3). They have also placed on record the copy of application dated 04.10.2024 (Annexure P-5), which was moved to respondent No.2. Notice of motion to respondent Nos.1 to 3 only. Without commenting on the validity of the marriage of the petitioners, respondent Nos.2 and 3 are hereby directed to provide necessary protection to the petitioners after assessing threat perception to their life.
