(Oral) The prayer in the petition under Section 482 of BNSS, 2023 is for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.0216 dated 19.07.2025 under Sections 21 and 61 of NDPS Act, 1985 (Section 29 of NDPS Act, 1985 added later on) registered at Police Station Civil Lines Batala, District Batala (Annexure P-1).

Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that pursuant to the interim order dated 01.09.2025 passed by this Court, petitioner has joined the investigation.

The learned State Counsel on instructions submits that the petitioner has joined investigation in terms of order dated 01.09.2025 and is not required for custodial interrogation.

CRM-M-48223-2025 -2In this view of the matter, interim order dated 01.09.2025 is made absolute.

However, the petitioner shall keep on joining the investigation as and when required to do so and he shall abide by the conditions as envisaged under Section 482(2) of BNSS.
