...Respondent

CORAM:

HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE ANOOP CHITKARA

Present:

Ms. Pooja Jaglan, Advocate for the petitioner.

Mr. Vikrant Pamboo, Sr. DAG, Haryana.

FIR No.

Dated Police Station Sections 21.08.2020 Sector-9A, District Gurugram 148, 149, 307, 302 IPC, 1860 (120-B, 216 IPC, 1860 added later on) and Section 25 of Arms Act, 1959.

Seeking direction to the trial Court for expeditious conclusion of trial pending in the FIR captioned above, the accused-petitioner has come up before this Court under Section 528 BNSS.

2.

State counsel opposes the present petition on the ground that this Court should not interfere with the docket of the trial court and should refrain from issuing directions to trial Court to decide a particular case in a given time frame. He further submits that the State would not seek unnecessary adjournment(s) before the trial Court concerned. 3.

Given such statement, the present petition is disposed with a request to the trial Court concerned to consider the request of the petitioner to finalize trial early and the State also shall not seek unnecessary adjournment(s). Trial court is requested to grant short adjournments in the matter. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed of.
