The petitioner through instant petition under Article 226 of Constitution of India is seeking direction to respondents to allot paddy as per milling policy for the year 2023-2024.

The petitioner is engaged in the business of milling rice. The petitioner is dependent upon paddy supplied by the State Government Agencies. The State Government every year frames milling policy known as Kharif Marketing Season Policy (KMS). Like other years the respondent has framed KMS Policy for 2023-2024. The grievance of the petitioner is that respondent is not allotting paddy to the petitioner as per its entitlement. 3.

The petitioner submits that this Court in CWP-13260-2020 vide order dated 01.09.2020 directed the respondents to decide representation. In present case, the petitioner has filed representations dated 16.10.2023 and PARAMJIT KAUR SAINI 2023.10.20 13:36 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment

CWP No.24028 of 2023 -2- 2023:PHHC:137130 17.10.2023 (Annexures P-5 & P-6) before the respondents who are not paying heed to the aforesaid representation.

The respondents are directed to look into the representations of the petitioner and pass an appropriate order within two weeks from today. 5.
