(ORAL) The present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, inter alia, seeking issuance of a writ in the nature of Mandamus for directing respondents No.1 to 4 to take appropriate action against respondents No.5 to 10 under Section 20(1)(e) or Section 20(1)(f) of the Punjab Panchayati Raj Act, 1994 for opposing the development works to be undertaken by the Gram Panchayat Rangian, Block Dehlon, District Ludhiana.

informs the Court that a meeting of all the Members of the Gram Panchayat including the Sarpanch was conducted in the office of Block Development and Panchayat Officer, Block Dehlon, District Ludhiana, wherein the quorum was complete and thereafter, HIMANI GUPTA 2025.11.21 16:43 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

the Gram Panchayat has passed a resolution dated 11.11.2025 for carrying out the development works in the village.
