Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that after filing of the present petition, the matter has been amicably resolved between the parties and he does not press the present petition at this stage.

In light of the above, the present petition stands disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to approach the competent authorities, in case, any threat perception arises in future, as detailed in the present petition and the same shall be looked into in accordance with law. 3.

It is made clear that filing or pendency of this petition or any order/direction passed in this petition shall not be an alibi or defence to the petitioner, in case, he is found involved in any illegal activity and the respondent-Authorities shall take appropriate action, in accordance with law.
