The petitioner through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of Constitution of India is seeking directions to the respondents to decide legal notice dated 21.08.2023 (Annexure P-7) in a time bound manner. 2.

Sister of the petitioner walked down the aisle with Yadwinder Singh-respondent No.4, however, on account of matrimonial discord, an FIR came to be registered against respondent No.4 by his wife. The petitioner has served upon passport authority legal notice dated 21.08.2023 asking the passport authority to cancel passport of respondent No.4. 3.

Mr. Amit Sharma, Central Govt. Counsel, who on advance notice is present in Court, submits that passport authority would look into the matter and pass an appropriate order in accordance with law within three months from today.
