Petitioner has prayed for a writ in the nature of mandamus to direct the respondents to regularize the service of the petitioner w.e.f. the date of completion of 10 years of continuous service in terms of the instructions issued by the Government from time to time. Notice of motion.

On the asking of court, Ms. Anu Chatrath, Addl. A.G. Punjab, who is present in court, accepts notice on behalf of official respondents. She submits that decision on the representation, Annexure P-13 shall be taken by the competent authority within two months in light of the instructions and judgments relied upon by the petitioner. A copy of the petition be also forwarded to the concerned department.

In view of statement made by State counsel, no further direction is necessary. Petition is hereby disposed.
