*** ASHOK KUMAR VERMA, J. (ORAL) The petitioner has filed the present petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail in case FIR No.215, dated 19.07.2022 registered under Sections 406/409/420/467/468/471/474 of the IPC, at Police Station City-1, Abohar, District Fazilka.

Learned counsel for the State on instructions, from ASI Mohan Lal, submits that pursuant to the order dated 05.01.2023 the petitioner has joined the investigation and is not required for custodial interrogation. In view of the above facts, but without commenting on the merits of the case, the present petition is allowed and the order dated 05.01.2023 granting interim anticipatory bail to the petitioner is made absolute, subject to the conditions laid down in Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
