*** HARSIMRAN SINGH SETHI , J. (ORAL) Learned Senior counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner argues that petitioner is entitled for the pay-scale of `37400-67000+9000 grade pay w.e.f. 29.03.2014 i.e. the date when the petitioner completed three years of service as an Assistant Professor, but the said benefit is not being extended to the petitioner by the respondents without any valid justification. The prayer of the petitioner is to direct the respondents to grant the said pay-scale w.e.f. 29.03.2014 as well as the revised leave encashment for the period 01.04.2012 to 31.03.2014. Counsel for the petitioner further states that for the relief, which has been sought in the present writ petition, petitioner has submitted a representation dated 19.05.2018 (Annexure P-7), which is NARESH KUMAR 2019.11.21 15:39 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Chandigarh

CWP-33004-2019 -2still pending consideration with the respondents and the petitioner will be satisfied, at this stage, in case a time bound direction is issued to the respondents to decide the said representations. In view of the request made, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case or the claim being made by the petitioner, the respondents are directed to decide the representation dated 19.05.2018 (Annexure P-7) by passing a speaking order within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order. In case after the decision, it is found that the petitioner is entitled for any monetary benefit, the same shall also be released to him within a period of three months thereafter.

Present writ petition stands disposed of.
