Present writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, inter alia, for issuing directions to respondent-Department to remove the pay anomaly of petitioners, which has been occurred due to implementation of four years ACP Scheme in the pay scales of 2011, in view of Notification dated 22.08.2019 (P-8) issued by the Govt. of Punjab, Department of Finance.

At the outset, learned counsel on instructions from petitioners submits that instead of pressing the present petition on merits, his clients would be satisfied in case the Legal Notice dated 22.09.2022 (P-9) is decided expeditiously.

Notice of motion to the aforesaid limited extent. On asking of the Court, Mr. D.K. Singal, Additional Advocate General, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of the respondent(s)-State and raises no objection against the innocuous prayer of the petitioners.
