(ORAL) Prayer in this petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., is for issuance of directions to the official respondent authorities to transfer the petitioner from Central Jail Sri Goindwal Sahib, District Taran Tarn to Central Jail Ludhiana in case FIR No.88, dated 26.07.2022, registered under Sections 302 of the Indian Penal Code read with Section 34 of Indian Penal Code, 1860 at Police Station Meharban, District Ludhiana (Annexure P-1). 2.

Short affidavit dated 28.04.2023 of Surinder Singh, Deputy Inspector General of Prisons, Office of Additional Director General of Police (Prisons), Punjab, Chandigarh on behalf of respondent No.2 is filed by learned State counsel in Court today and the same is taken on record, subject HIMANI GUPTA 2023.05.09 13:22 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document/judgment High Court, Chandigarh

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that as per the aforesaid reply, the present petition has been rendered infructuous, as the order for transfer of petitioner from Central Jail, Shri Goindwal Sahib to Central Jail, Ludhiana has been passed vide Endorsement No.G.I/SEC1/1430, dated 13.04.2023 and the petitioner has been transferred from Central Jail, Shri Goindwal Sahib to Central Jail, Ludhina on 16.04.2023. 4.

In view of the above submission made by learned counsel for the petitioner, present petition is dismissed as having been rendered infructuous.
