ARVIND SINGH SANGWAN J. (Oral) Prayer in this petition is for issuance of a direction to the official respondents to conclude the investigation in FIR No.96 dated 24.04.2021 registered under Sections 323, 341, 506, 294, 427 IPC at Police Station Kharar, District S.A.S. Nagar, Mohali, expeditiously and submit the challan/final report under Section 173 Cr.P.C., before the trial Court.

Counsel for the petitioner has argued that a period of 01 year and 07 months has already lapsed and since the time, the FIR was registered, the challan has not been presented before the trial Court. Counsel for the State, on instructions from ASI Kulwinder Singh, has submitted that challan is ready, however, due to some objections, it could not be filed before the trial Court/Illaqa Magistrate and the same will be presented within a period of 15 days from today before the trial Court/Illaqa Magistrate.

In view of the above, the present petition is disposed of with a direction that the challan will be presented before the trial Court/Illaqa Magistrate on or before 19.12.2022. (ARVIND SINGH SANGWAN) JUDGE 05.12.2022 yakub Whether speaking/reasoned:
