The instant petition has been filed for issuance of writ, order in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents No.1 to 6 to stop shifting the votes of the petitioners from the voter list of village Sherewal, Tehsil Jagraon, District Ludhiana to Village Munabarpura and Kakran or in the alternative to decide the representation dated 06.10.2024 (Annexure P-3), in accordance with law.

Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has already given a representation before respondent No.3 on 06.10.2024, but the same has not been decided yet. 3.

After hearing the learned counsel for the parties and going through the facts of the case, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3, to look into the representation dated 06.10.2024 (Annexure P-3) and decide the same expeditiously preferably within a period of two days in accordance with law by passing a speaking order.
