The present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for directing respondent Nos. 2 and 3 to protect the lives and liberty of the petitioners and also directing respondent No.4 not to interfere in their personal lives of the petitioners.

Pursuant to the order dated 10.10.2024, short reply by way of an affidavit of Kuldeep Singh, PPS, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sub Division Malerkotla, District Malterkotla has been handed over in the Court today and the same is taken on record. Copy thereof has been supplied to counsel for the petitioner.

Given the stand taken by State in paragraphs 8 and 9 of the reply which clearly indicates the efforts made by the police in the matter, no further orders are required to be passed in the present petition. 4.

Given above, present petition stands disposed of. All pending applications, if any stand disposed of.
