Prayer in the present petition filed under Section 439 Cr.P.C. is for grant of regular bail to the petitioner in FIR No.372, dated 29.07.2022, registered under Sections 387 and 506 IPC (Section 120-B IPC and Section 66 of Information Technology Act, 2000 added later on), at Police Station Sector 27, Sonepat.

Learned State counsel submits that the petitioner is behind bars for 01 year, 04 month and 02 days. He is involved in 6 other cases with similar allegations and is not on bail in any of the cases. 3.

Learned counsel for the petitioner prays for withdrawal of the instant petition at this stage.
