The present petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India inter alia seeking a writ in the nature of Mandamus/Certiorari for setting aside the order dated 31.01.2024 (Annexure P-2) passed by respondent No.4.

On advance service of copy of petition, Mr. Navneet Singh, Sr. D.A.G, Punjab, appears on behalf of the respondent-State. 3.

Learned State counsel informs the Court that the Revision Petition along with an application seeking condonation of delay filed by the petitioner is pending consideration before the concerned Financial Commissioner on 18.10.2024. Learned counsel for the petitioner, keeping in view the aforesaid submissions made by learned State counsel, submits that he does not intend to press the instant writ petition any further, at this stage. 5.

Keeping in view the submissions made by learned counsel for the parties, the present writ petition is disposed of accordingly. 6.
