The petitioner through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of Constitution of India is seeking directions to respondents to issue passport. 2.
Three FIRs have been registered against the petitioner. The police in FIR No.61 dated 17.07.2014 has filed cancellation report which stands accepted by the trial Court. The trial Court has granted permission to the petitioner in FIR No.83 dated 24.07.2022 to get issued passport from the passport authority. FIR No.25 dated 15.03.2023 is under investigation. 3.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that trial Court has rejected application of the petitioner seeking permission to get passport in FIR No.25 dated 15.03.2023 though the trial Court has granted permission in FIR No.83 dated 24.07.2022.

Learned State counsel does not dispute the aforesaid factual position with respect to aforesaid FIR(s).

Learned counsel for Union of India submits that the petitioner may be directed to appear before passport authority alongwith requisite documents who would look into grievance of the petitioner and pass an appropriate order within six weeks thereafter. 6.
In the wake of statement of learned counsel for Union of India, the petition stands disposed of. The petitioner is directed to appear before passport authority on 18.12.2023.
