(Oral) This petition has been filed, inter alia, seeking a writ of certiorari quashing the speaking order dated 10.10.2022, Annexure P-10, whereby the petitioner's claim for change of cadre from Rest of Haryana to Mewat has been rejected. Further, a writ of mandamus has been sought directing the respondents to consider the petitioner under Mewat cadre for the purpose of seniority, promotion and other consequential benefits. 2.

The petitioner is serving as Lecturer in English in Government Model Senior Secondary School at Rewari.

As per facts mentioned in the impugned order, dated 10.10.2022, the Department gave option on 07.11.2017, 14.11.2017 and 20.11.2017 to all Post Graduate Teaches to opt for either Mewat cadre or Rest of Haryana cadre PAYAL 2023.12.16 15:35 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment

The options were again given on 12.12.2017 and 20.12.2017 to employees of Mewat and Gurugram District to opt for either of the two cadres as well as to raise objections regarding the tentative seniority list. Once again, the options were given through online mode on 05.04.2022 and 21.04.2022 to all PGTs to opt for either of the two cadres. The petitioner, however, failed to opt for the Mewat cadre in response to any of the aforementioned opportunities provided by the Department. The tentative seniority list of PGTs (Mewat Cadre) was finalised on 01.06.2022 as per options received through District Education Officers. Therefore, the petitioner's request for change of cadre was declined.

The facts aforestated could not be disputed by the learned counsel. Therefore, there is no ground to interfere with the impugned order, which is well reasoned and based on relevant facts. 5.

Dismissed.
