The instant petition has been filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.53 dated 02.09.2019 registered under Sections 498-A, 406 IPC at Police Station Women, Bathinda, Punjab.

By an order dated 02.03.2020, this Court had granted interim bail to the petitioner and directed him to join investigation. 4.
Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would contend that pursuant to order dated 02.03.2020, the petitioner has joined the investigation.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent-State on instructions from IO submits that the petitioner has joined investigation. 5.
I have heard learned counsel for the parties.

In view of the fact that the petitioner has joined investigation, the instant petition is allowed and the order dated 02.03.2020 granting interim bail to the petitioner is made absolute, subject to the conditions laid down in Section 438 (2) Cr.P.C.
