  56 7Learned counsel submits that the allegations against the petitioner are of having caused injuries to the complainant and his brother, however, he had also received injuries at their hands with regard to which MLR (Annexure P5) is referred to. The settlement has been arrived at between the parties wherein besides compensation of Rs.67,000 that includes one months' rent, the petitioner shall vacate the premises in question within a period of 2 months, the security amount lying with the complainant shall be adjusted by them towards another partial payment of rent and the security cheques lying with him shall be returned. He is ready and willing to join the investigation as and when required by the investigating agency and will cooperate.

Meanwhile, the petitioner is directed to join the investigation on or before 17.09.2025. In the event of his arrest, he shall be released on interim bail to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer, subject to compliance of conditions as enshrined under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.

However, it is clarified that if the petitioner does not join and cooperate with the Investigating Agency as required by the Arresting/Investigating Officer, this interim order shall be deemed to have been vacated.
