Complainant-Jasvir Singh is impleaded as respondent No.2 in the present petition. Amended memo of parties is taken on record. Registry is directed to tag the same at the appropriate place.

CRM-M-47807-2025 Learned counsel submits that the petitioner is running a Kiryana store and miscellaneous products in the vicinity of the village, where he resides. He and two others were planning to go abroad for settling and the complainant wanted to join and paid an amount of Rs.3,40,000/-, Rs.8,80,000/- and Rs.2,40,000/- on 16.12.2024 to the petitioner as he was holding a current account, which has a higher limit of transactions. The same was transferred to co-accused Sandeep, who is accused in FIR No.111 dated 02.08.2025, Annexure P-2 lodged by the petitioner. Thus, he himself is also a victim. He is not involved in any other case and is ready and willing to join the investigation as and when required by the investigating agency and will cooperate. Notice of motion.

CRM-M-47807-2025 (O&M) -2At the asking of the Court, Mr. M.S. Bajwa, DAG Punjab accepts notice on behalf of respondent-State. Meanwhile, the petitioner is directed to join the investigation on or before 12.09.2025. In the event of his arrest, he shall be released on interim bail to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer, subject to compliance of conditions as enshrined under Section 482 (2) BNSS.

However, it is clarified that if the petitioner does not join and cooperate with the Investigating Agency as required by the Arresting/Investigating Officer, this interim order shall be deemed to have been vacated.
