The present petition has been filed inter alia praying for issuance of a writ in the nature of habeas corpus for releasing detenue namely Farjana (minor daughter of petitioner) from the illegal custody of respondents No. 5 to 14.

Learned State counsel submits that the detenue has been recovered, her statement has been recorded, and the accused is presently in custody.

Faced with the above, learned counsel for petitioner does not press the present petition.
