The present petition has been filed under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner at the hands of the accused persons named in FIR No.786 dated 29.12.2022 registered under Sections 147, 149, 323, 380, 427, 448 & 506 IPC at Police Station Palla, District Faridabad; along with certain other prayers. 2.

The counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the present petition, with liberty to avail alternate remedy, in accordance with law.
