Reply to the application under Section 24 of the Hindu Marriage Act, has not been filed.

Counsel for the appellant-husband submits that he was able to contact the father of the appellant but he had expressed ignorance about the whereabouts of the appellant.

In view of said circumstances, we have considered the application under Section 24 of the Hindu Marriage Act in which the wife has claimed maintenance pendente lite @ Rs.18,000/- per month i.e. Rs.10,000/- per month for herself and Rs.8,000/- per month for the minor son Deepak who is staying with the applicant-respondent/wife. The appellant-husband is working as a Secretary in a Cooperative Bank. The the applicant-respondent/wife had been granted a sum of Rs.5,000/- per month for herself and Rs.5,000/- per month for her minor children in proceedings under Section 125 Cr.P.C. by the Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Kosli, vide order dated 22.10.2014. It has been informed that no amount has been paid.

Be that as it may, we grant a sum of Rs.15,000/- per month towards maintenance pendente lite to the applicant-respondent/wife payable by the appellant-husband with effect from the date of the Raj Kumar Arora 2018.02.19 11:24 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

CMM-96-2017 in FAO-M-127-2016 application i.e. May 2017. Litigation expenses assessed to the tune of Rs.20,000/- per month are also awarded which already stands paid. Application under Section 24 of the Hindu Marriage Act, stands allowed accordingly.

For payment of the arrears of the maintenance pendente lite calculated upto 31.5.2018, to come up on 28.5.2018. A copy of this order indicating the direction regarding clearance of arrears of maintenance be sent to the appellant-husband through registered post on registered cover being supplied by the counsel for the appellant-husband.
