(Oral) Prayer in this writ petition filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, is for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus, directing respondents No.1 and 2 to release the service benefits such as gratuity, provident fund, GIS, leave encashment, etc. of late Mandip Singh @ Dimpi, who died on 12.10.2022. Further prayer has been made to direct respondents No.3 and 4, to correct the death certificate dated 05.11.2022 of late Mandip Singh by deleting the name of respondent No.5 as well in the official record of late Mandip Singh @ Dimpi from the column of 'Spouse's' and by inserting the name of petitioner No.2 in the column of 'Spouse's' as petitioner No.2 is legally wedded wife of late Mandip Singh @ Dimpi.

Learned counsel for the petitioners wishes to withdraw the present petition.

Dismissed as withdrawn.
