The instant petition has been filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.87 dated 23.04.2019 registered under Sections 363, 366-A IPC (later on added Sections 376, 120-B IPC and Sections 3 & 4 of POCSO Act, 2012) at Police Station Kharar, District SAS Nagar, Punjab.

By an order dated 20.11.2019 while issuing notice of motion, this Court had granted interim bail to the petitioner and directed him to join investigation.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that in pursuance of direction given by this Court vide order dated 20.11.2019, petitioner has joined investigation. 4.

Learned counsel appearing for the State on instructions from IO submits that the petitioner has joined investigation and interrogation of the petitioner is no more required.
