Prayer made in the present petition is for quashing the impugned order dated 03.09.2019, whereby appeal of the petitioner was dismissed and impugned order dated 20.05.2019 vide which his arms license had been cancelled.

Learned counsel submits that the solitary reason for not renewing the arms license of the petitioner as stated in the impugned order was his involvement in FIR No.269, dated 18.04.2016, registered under Section 307, 120-B, 34, 216 IPC and Section 25, 54, 59 of Arms Act, wherein though there was no arms used and the allegations against him pertained to only the offence under Section 216 and now vide judgment dated 08.05.2024 passed during the pendency of the present case, he stands acquitted. 3.
The aforesaid facts having been brought out, during the course of hearing, learned State counsel, on instructions, states that the respondents would not be averse to have a relook at the matter and decided afresh, taking note of the aforesaid submissions, within a period of 3 months, uninfluenced HAMANT 2025.05.15 17:47 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
CWP-33291-2019 by the order dated 20.05.2019, Annexure P-7, which this Court has no reason to believe the authorities would not address in a just, fair and reasonable manner.
