The present appeal has been filed by the appellant-claimant, for seeking enhancement of the compensation awarded by learned Tribunal, on account of injuries sustained by him, in a motor vehicular accident, which took place on 11.01.2017.

Perusal of the impugned Award reveals that appellant-injured was 14 years old, at the time of accident and considering the evidence brought on record, learned Tribunal had awarded compensation, as reproduced in tabular form in paragraph No.35 of the Award, which is as herein given:- 1.

Compensation on account of loss of teeths Rs.10,000/- 3.

On account of pain and suffering Rs.10,000/- Total Rs.30,000/- Learned counsel for the appellant submits that appellant would be satisfied, if an amount of Rs.30,000/- is further awarded, as full and final settlement, over and above the awarded amount. The offer so made, is acceptable to counsel for respondent No.3 and has agreed that respondent No.3-National Insurance Company Limited shall pay an amount of Rs.30,000/-, over and above the awarded amount. Considering the amicable settlement, so reached between the parties, the present appeal is hereby allowed. Respondent No.3-National Insurance Company Limited is directed to pay an amount of Rs.30,000/-, over and above the awarded amount of Rs.30,000/- and the requisite amount, shall be paid to the appellant, within a period of 45 days. In case of any default, on the part of the Insurance Company, in making the payment within the stipulated period, it shall be liable to pay penal interest @ 8% per annum from today, till realization.
