(Oral) Prayer in this petition filed under Section 439 Cr.P.C. is for grant of regular bail to the petitioner in FIR No.124 dated 02.05.2023 registered under Sections 376, 506 IPC and 4 of the POCSO Act, at Police Station Zirakpur, District S.A.S. Nagar. Learned State counsel has produced a Custody Certificate wherein it has been stated that the petitioner has already been convicted in the present FIR vide judgment dated 30.11.2024 passed by the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Fast-track, Special Court, S.A.S. Nagar, Mohali, and has been sentenced to undergo rigorous imprisonment for a period of 20 years. He submits that in view of the said development, the instant petition has been rendered infructuous. Disposed of as having become infructuous.
