The present revision petition has been filed by the plaintiffpetitioner under Article 227 of the Constitution of India for setting aside the judgment and decree dated 15.11.2017 passed by the learned Additional Civil Judge (Senior Division), Ferozepur whereby his suit was dismissed with liberty to approach the Special Court dealing with matters of theft of electricity and the judgment & decree dated 09.07.2019 passed by the First Appellate Court whereby his appeal has been dismissed. 2.
The question of law as to whether jurisdiction of the Civil Court is barred in view of Section 145 of the Electricity Act, 2003, has since been decided by the Hon'ble Division Bench of this Court in RSA-4181-2016 [Mahesh Kumar Versus Sub Divisional Officer & Anr.] vide judgment dated 14.05.2025.

Without commenting upon the maintainability of the present revision petition, the present revision petition is disposed off with liberty to the plaintiff-petitioner to avail the remedies as has been delineated in the aforesaid judgment of the Hon'ble Division Bench of this Court. Pending applications, if any, also stands disposed off.
