Status report by way of an affidavit of DSP, Sub Division City, District Pathankot filed on behalf of respondent-State in Court today, is taken on record subject to all just exceptions. Main case The present petition has been filed under Section 482 of BNSS for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.94 dated 11.07.2024 under Section 190, 191(3), 194(2), 109, 115(2) of BNS (Section 238 of BNSS and Section 25/54/59 of Arms Act added later on) registered at Police Station Division No.2, District Pathankot. 2.
On the last date of hearing i.e. on 16.10.2024, while noticing the following submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court had granted the concession of interim bail to the petitioner and asked him to join investigation: SONIA BURA 2024.12.05 16:32 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in compliance of order dated 16.10.2024, petitioner has joined the investigation and cooperated with the investigating officer. 4.
Learned State counsel, on instructions, has not disputed that neither the petitioner named in the FIR in question nor any specific injury has been attributed to him; he has been nominated on the basis of a disclosure statement. the submission made by learned counsel for the petitioner. Learned State counsel, on further instructions, submits that the petitioner has joined the investigation and is not required for custodial interrogation.
